Fix Democracy First is participating in GivingTuesday today, the global day of unity and giving. Our organization works year round to support and strengthen democracy at the local and national level, and democracy needs our help more than ever right now. But we can’t do this without you. Help us reach out fundraising goal today of $5000. We have two ways you can give to support our work... Donate to Fix Democracy First Education Fund, our 501(c)(3) civic education and outreach organization, to support our civic outreach and public education programs including, our Democracy Happy Hours; film screenings and panel discussions; high school and middle school hands-on civics programs we are implementing in partnership with Generation Citizen; and our WON (Women in Office Now), which offers free training and support to women running for office in Washington state. All donations to FDFEF are tax deductible. Donate to Fix Democracy First, our 501(c)(4) advocacy organization, to support our work to expand and strengthen democracy through various reforms, including public funding of elections, getting big money out of politics, expanding access to voting, eliminating gerrymandering, and alternative voting systems like ranked choice voting and proportional representation. Donations to FDF are not tax deductible. Small recurring donations of $5, 10, $20 or more are a great way to support us on an ongoing basis. |
