Citizens United Overreach: Corporate Boards’ Political Spending
with Tom Moore from Center for American Progress

The Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United gave corporations—but not for-profit corporate boards—the authority to spend in candidate elections. But those boards immediately started spending anyway, improperly handing U.S. citizens’ constitutional rights over to large shareholders and foreign nationals. Tom Moore is a senior fellow at Center for American Progress, where he focuses on democracy and government reform.
