Teachers Advancing Civic Learning Policy Primer Training

Fix Democracy First is a proud partner of the CivXNow Teachers Advancing Civic Learning (TACL - pronounced “tackle”) project, an effort to build an ongoing movement and advance policy within schools, districts, states, and nation. We especially encourage current and retired educators interested in being part of this peer community to join the TACL effort. 

As part of this effort, we are joining our partners to implement a quarterly educator training/webinar. Join us TODAY, Tuesday May 28 at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET as we hear from Lindsay Sobel, Chief of Policy, Planning, and External Affairs at one of the nation’s leading organizations emphasizing teacher leadership, Teach Plus. Together with CivXNow partners collaborating on the TACL project, we’ll provide you with tools and strategies to make the case for stronger civic learning policies within your school and district, among parents, and with decision-makers at the local, state, and national levels.

This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about advocating for civic education on local, state and/or national level.
