Dear supporter of democracy in Washington state, We are reaching out as we need to make sure Seattle's successful Democracy Voucher Program continues for another 10 years. The program has changed local elections for the better—giving everyday people a bigger voice, making it possible for more diverse candidates to run, reducing the influence of big money in politics, and more. We hope to bring this kind of program to other places in Washington state, including for state legislative races. Keeping Seattle's program alive will help us with this effort. The program is now up for renewal with Seattle's Proposition 1 on the August 5th primary ballot to ensure funding for the program for the next 10 years. The Yes on Prop 1 Seattle team needs your help to do this. Check out who's endorsing the campaign HERE. There are many ways you can support: • VOLUNTEER - We need volunteers to help with canvassing, tabling at events, phone banking, social media, host events, community outreach, write letters-to-the-editor, and more! • DONATE - We can't run a successful campaign without financial support.
